Designed to provide real-time recognition of power loss and restoration, this sensor is essential for monitoring main power feeds, 3-phase systems, UPS units, and backup generators. By installing multiple sensors across different sources, you can receive immediate alerts when a primary source fails and confirmation the moment a backup supply successfully takes over. Because Room Alert notifies you when conditions resolve, you will always know exactly when power returns to normal.
Simple & Flexible Installation
This switch sensor includes a compact AVTECH 5V International Power Adapter that plugs directly into the power source being monitored. Its small footprint allows it to easily fit on any standard outlet, power strip, server rack, or UPS. It provides true “Plug & Play” integration by connecting to any standard switch sensor channel on the back of a compatible Room Alert monitor.
While it comes standard with a 25′ (7.62 m) sensor cable, the monitoring distance can be easily extended up to approximately 900′ (274.32 m) using standard speaker wire, twisted pair, or any reliable low-voltage 2-wire cable.
