The Digital Temperature & Air Flow Sensor provides dual-purpose monitoring to ensure your critical IT and facility infrastructure receives adequate cooling. By actively monitoring the air flow coming from vents, ducts, and cooling units, this sensor instantly notifies you of any changes or variables in ventilation. This early detection is essential for identifying failing HVAC systems and preventing overheating.
How It Works
When air flows through the sensor, precise air speed readings are communicated directly to your compatible Room Alert device via a standard digital sensor port. Simply enter the physical dimensions of the vent being monitored into your Room Alert interface, and the system will automatically calculate the volumetric air flow for you.
Additionally, this “Plug and Play” device features a built-in digital temperature sensor, providing accurate ambient temperature values alongside your air flow data.
